Autumn Newsletter 2025 🍁

I always consider Autumn as the time to take stock, celebrate wins, and refine our focus.

Just like nature, businesses and individuals thrive by letting go of what’s not working and doubling down on what is. As the leaves change, we may need to, too.

Growth Opportunity

We’re now three months in from those New Year plans and resolutions, where are we at?

Momentum and growth are always all over the place and a bit ‘thrown together’.

To achieve a goal you want in life, all you have ‘T.O.D.O’ is THINK. ORGANISE. DO. OBSERVE.

Focus on the four aligned questions you're trying to answer:

  • THINK - “What do I want to do?”

  • ORGANISE - “How will I do it?”

  • DO - “Am I doing it?”

  • OBSERVE - “Did it work?”

That is the perfect order to create a system and accomplish any goal.

THINK. ORGANISE. DO. OBSERVE.

Techniques for Goal Success

THINK

  • Brainstorm. Be chaotic - refine them later.

  • Make them aspirational and slightly out of reach

    • If today’s skills can achieve tomorrow’s goal, it’s not big enough and you’ll get bored.

    • If it’s too big, it’ll be overwhelming, and you won’t start.

ORGANISE

  • Make your goals PERSONAL - Do you really love this goal?

  • Avoid chasing someone else’s goal or something you’re ‘supposed’ to have.

    • If it doesn’t excite you, you won’t stick with it.

  • Choose a ‘Because’ statement to define your why: I want to

 because

.

  • Vague goals fail. Make your goals DETAILED-ISH.

  • Add a number and a timeline to your ‘Because’ statement.

  • Give yourself permission to adjust as required.

    • You can only control the effort, or the actions you take, not the result.

  • Brainstorm actions in advance so you’re never stuck asking, what now?

  • Work consistently for 30 days, then review. Pause. Are you still on track?

    • Give yourself the freedom to change and evolve.

DO

  • Momentum beats motivation.

  • What can you DO today that benefits your future self?

  • The more you brainstorm before the DO-ing, the easier it is to stay in motion.

  • The longer your list of actions, the quicker you’ll progress your goal.

  • Apply your time and DO them!

  • Progress happens in small, consistent steps.

OBSERVE

  • Track progress. If it’s working, keep going.

  • If not, adjust. Where can you improve? Go back to ORGANISE.

  • To stay on course, schedule time to review regularly— 15mins each week - fast and often.

  • Be honest with yourself in OBSERV-ation. It will improve your DO stage.
